Clusters Institute of Media and Technology more commonly known as Clusters Media College, Coimbatore is a prestigious private college which was established in 2007 with the prime motive to bring back the glory of pride, "The South Indian Film Industry" to Coimbatore and with the aim of creating industry-ready professionals in the media and arts field.  Mr Aravindan Soundararajan is the Founder & CEO of the Clusters Media College.  It is the only Industrial Integrated Media College with the most significant Media Production Training inside its campus, with complete Media Production Studios and Labs.

The Clusters Institute of Media and Technology in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu is approved by Bharathiar University and the UGC, New Delhi. The Placement Cell of this College is approved by Alagappa University and Bharathiar University.  Most importantly Clusters Media College has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Film & Television Institute of India (FTII) and has been recognized and awarded the status of “Best Media College”.

Clusters Media College is a Mini Media Hub having over 20 Media Production Companies inside its campus to provide its students with real-time exposure required by the industry.  Some of the companies that Clusters has worked with include ALT Balaji (which is a subsidiary of Balaji Telefilms), Hoichoi, TVF, and MUBI.

 
The institute offers Post graduate, Undergraduate, Diploma and Certificate courses across various streams such as Animation Technology, Visual Communication, Film Technology, Interior Designing and Photography among others. A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
