College of Engineering Trikaripur is a fast growing Engineering college in north Kerala. It offers undergraduate courses, leading to the award of B.Tech degree of the Cochin University of Science And Technology and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.

Established in the year 2000 under the auspices of the co-operative academy of professional education(CAPE), an autonomous society under government of Kerala.The institution provides an environment conducive to technical education thereby bringing out the innate talents and professionalism in each of the students. A sense of social commitment and traditional value is imbibed in the budding professionals so that they can cater to the societal needs.

The five streams of Engineering engage in students in Merit ,Management & NRI quota as per the norms of the government and CAPE.

Eligibility for admission is as specified in the Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Govt. of Kerala. The merit & management students are directed by the Chief Entrance Commissioner according to the Entrance ranking through online counseling. 60% seats are free seats, 35% seats are management seats and 5% seats are reserved for NRI students selected directly on merit basis. Also the Government have accorded sanction for the increase of 5% seats for implementing the tuition fee waivers scheme (FWS) for women, economically backward and physically challenged meritorious students.

Training & Placement Cell

The Training and Placement Cell (TPC) functions with the objective of giving apt career guidance and placement opportunities.

ICT Academy of Kerala is a Social Enterprise created in a Public Private Partnership model (PPP) for imparting ICT skills to the youths of Kerala and improve their employability opportunities in the Industry. The Company is supported by Govt. of India , partnered by Govt. of Kerala and the ICT industry.

Library

An online gateway to the library resources of College of Engineering Trikaripur and serves as an important research tool for current students, faculty and staff. The Library has an exhaustive collection of Technical books of around 21526 volumes from all branches of engineering, magazines, dailies, printed journals, electronic journals, E-books etc. The digital Library boasts off having latest collection of CDs. The library also houses the in-house documentation center which hoists various reports concerning the projects and seminars conducted in the college.

The Library is computerized and is poised for future expansion. The technical library is fully automated using KOHA, an open source integrated library management system. Barcoding is done for every book available in the library. OPAC facility is provided for the users .Reprographic facility is also provided for the users in the library. The library is divided into different sections such as stack area, reading area, reference section etc. The seating capacity of the reference section is around 100. The digital library includes the software DSpace. There exists CCTV monitoring inside the library. Book Bank facility is provided for the reservation category students. In total our library provides open access n all sections for the users and supports the academic activities of the college.

The College has the facility of a spacious and clean canteen that caters to the taste of all students and staff. The college canteen offers variety of snacks, cool drinks and South Indian Dishes. It is well maintained with efficient service and a take away counter. A variety of dishes are available to the students and staff at reasonable rates. The canteen remains open on all working days.

It is a place where students unwind and relax with friends to enjoy good quality, delicious and healthy snacks and drinks at nominal rates.

Ladies Hostel 

At the eastern premises of the campus,are situated the blocks of the ladies hostel which can accommodate 200 inmates.

Mens Hostel

Located near to the college , the men’s hostel with limited accommodation facility for SC/ST students and for the others accommodation is arranged nearest to the college campus .

Canteen

The College has the facility of a spacious and clean canteen that caters to the taste of all students and staff. The college canteen offers variety of snacks, cool drinks and South Indian Dishes. It is well maintained with efficient service and a take away counter. A variety of dishes are available to the students and staff at reasonable rates. The canteen remains open on all working days.
