The College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Navsari, was established on July 1, 2008, under the Chief Ministers Ten Point Programme (Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana) by the Government of Gujarat, with a five-year funding plan of 62.62 crores. It operates as a constituent college of Navsari Agricultural University (NAU), which was established in 2004. The college is located within NAUs 400-acre campus on Dandi Road, Navsari, approximately 3.1 km from Navsari Railway Station and about 27 km from Surat International Airport.
The college is affiliated with Navsari Agricultural University and is recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). NAU is accredited by the National Agricultural Education Accreditation Board of ICAR, New Delhi, with accreditation valid until March 31, 2026.
