The College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry Sardarkrushinagar Gujarat was established on January 17 1981 by the Government of Gujarat under the former Gujarat Agricultural University GAU. In 2004 following the division of GAU into four universities it became part of Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University SDAU. Since April 2021 it has been a constituent college of Kamdhenu University.

The college is located in Sardarkrushinagar about 26 kilometers from Palanpur city in Banaskantha district Gujarat. The main building covers an area of over one hectare.
