This Veterinary College is Situated in a sprawling campus spread over 83 acres in Gopavaram, Proddatur, Kadapa District in Andhra Pradesh.   

College of Veterinary Science, Proddatur is a constituent college, affiliated to Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati. The College is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) as well as by The Veterinary Council of India (VCI).

The Veterinary Council of India, New Delhi has prescribed the regulations to meet the Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education for BVSc & AH degree course.

BVSc & AH (Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry the admission eligibility for which is based on counselling conducted by ANGRAU with the merit in A.P EAMCET.

MVSc program needs a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from SVVU/ANGRAU or from an institution accredited by ICAR/VCI for admission.

PhD Degree admission eligibility needs a Master’s degree in the respective/related subject from SVVU/ANGRAU or from an institution accredited by ICAR.

  • Candidates must register for AP EAMCET counselling and opt for veterinary programs during web option entry.
