Aeronautical Engineering is a branch of Aerospace Engineering that focuses on the Plan, Design, Development, and Maintenance of aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft as well as Investigation of the science behind the powers and physical properties of an aircraft.  

A Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Aeronautical Engineering is a four-year undergraduate program that prepares students for careers in the aviation industry and defense services. This course aims at plugging the demand and supply of trained and qualified professionals of aeronautical.  Students learn about a variety of topics, including Aerodynamics, Aircraft Structures, Propulsion Systems, Avionics, Materials Science, and Flight Mechanics.  Students gain practical and Hands-on experience in laboratories.

The eligibility criterion for the course is a 10+2 examination with at least 60% - 70% marks from a recognized institute. 5% moderation is for reserved categories. The admission process is both merit-based selection or entrance exams which will be held by colleges or universities. The entrance exams are JEE, AIEEE, CEE, and HITSEEE. The average fee range for the course as per the university, from INR 80,000 to INR 14.5 lakhs for 1st year.

Admission Procedure For B.E Aeronautical Engineering:

The process for enrolling in a good college or university is either merit-based or through entrance exams conducted by the various universities and colleges.

Merit-Based Selection

·         The registration form will be released by colleges or universities for their own entrance exam.

·         Students have to fill the form online with the registration fees through the website of respective colleges and                      universities before the last date.

·         The college or universities release the cutoff list date. On the day, the cutoff list will be released by them.

·         Students have to visit the college and university for the documentation process according to the cutoff list.

·         10th Mark sheet, 12th Mark sheet, and Passport size photo, etc. are the documents that are required for verification.

Entrance-Based Selection

·         The registration form will be released by colleges or universities for their own entrance exam.

·         Students have to fill the form online with the registration fees through the website of respective colleges and                      universities before the last date.
