Career Opportunities for B.E in CSE with specialization in Internet of things (IoT):
IoT Engineer – The job role of an IoT engineer is a broad umbrella, and it brings to play many skillsets and disciplines. IoT engineers are professionals who are able to develop, manage, and monitor IoT devices and systems through the combination of three main components – data, technology and research. IoT engineers are well-versed in networking, security, system engineering, hardware core programming and cloud programming.
Machine Learning Engineer – It is the responsibility of machine learning engineers to feed data into the models defined by data scientists. It is also their responsibility to take theoretical data science models and scale them out for production-level models that can handle terabytes of real-time data. Machine learning engineers build programs which control robots and computers.
IoT Developer - An IoT developer is one of the most prominent job roles within the larger IoT field. It focuses mainly on creating software that allows the product to function properly and connect to other devices.
Citizen IoT Scientist – Citizen Scientist’s main focus is to engage and incentivise individuals to collect, categorise, and sometimes analyse scientific data.
