M.E - Communication and Networking

Overview:

M.E. in Communication and Networking is a 2-year post graduate program that aims to develop students' ability to synthesize data and technical concepts to apply to products, and to work in multidisciplinary teams. It also provides a foundation in mathematical, scientific, and engineering fundamentals to help students solve engineering problems.

The field of networking and communication includes the Analysis, Design, Implementation, and use of Local, Wide-Area, and Mobile Networks that link computers together. The Internet itself is a network that makes it feasible for nearly all computers in the world to communicate.

This course which concentrates on devices, equipment and technologies that communicate data, voice and multimedia information, has five areas of specialization: Media Studies, Government Communication, Health Communication, Organizational Communication and Diversity In Communication. The program consists of core program devoted to the hardware description languages, design basics of VLSI systems and CAD tools.

The course includes basic topics such as modem digital communication techniques, Computer networks, multimedia compression techniques, and computer networks advanced radiation systems, etc. Then applicants learn about microwave integrated circuits, optical fiber communication, satellites communication, cellular mobile communication and other related topics.

After finishing of M.E. Communication and Networking, competitors can enlist for Ph.D. in the related subject. It is research-based program and permits leading research on the chosen topic after endorsement from the supervisor. Applicants having research aptitude and need to have a vocation in the logical field are appropriate for this course.
