M.E Software Engineering is a 2-year postgraduate degree focused on the design, implementation, experiments, management of information systems of the various aspects of the software field.  The course teaches the students to design new software, develop software development strategies, software management, etc.  An M.E in Software Engineering helps candidates by guiding them in professions such as Teaching, Media, and Industry. 

The eligibility criteria for candidates to apply for M.E Computer Engineering is the candidate should have a bachelor degree in a relevant field with 55% aggregate marks from a recognized AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) or equivalent government body.

Admission Procedure For  M.E  Software Engineering:

The admission process for an M.E. in Software Engineering in India may vary by institution, however some of the common requirements are:

  • Candidates may be required to qualify for Entrance exams like the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
  • GATE-qualified candidates can register for admission and counseling through the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) for IITs, or Centralized Counselling for M.E/M.Tech (CCMT) for NITs and other government engineering colleges.
  •  Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university. Some universities may accept admissions based on the minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.
