M.E. in Power Electronics is a two-year postgraduate program in India that focuses on the Design, Operation, and Application of Power Electronic Devices. Admission Procedure For M.E Power Electronics :

The admission process to M.E in Power Electronics course is either common entrance test based or merit-based mechanism and involves the following:

  • Candidates must qualify in the common entrance test like BITSAT HD or take admissions through commonly held entrance exams like GATE.
  • Students have to apply and qualify for these exams to get admission to the course.
  • Based on the results of test, a merit list of qualified candidates is prepared and they are invited for admission process by the respective university or college.
  • After the admission process final allotment of seats to the candidate takes place and the candidate is asked to deposit the fee for the course and register for the respective academic year.

Eligibility For M.E Power Electronics:

  • Candidate must have passed the B.E/B. Tech or equivalent examination in Electrical and Electronics and Communication/Electronics and Telecommunication/Electronics and Instrumentation stream from a recognized State/Private/Deemed/Central University with at least 55% (Relaxable for reserved category candidates) of the marks.
  • Candidates should not have any backlog or compartment in any of the subject/Subjects at the UG level that is yet to be cleared at the time of taking admissions.
  • Some Colleges and Institutes have their own additional criteria which the students would have to satisfy to take admission (eg. 1 year work experience).
  • Reserved category students have to present their reservation certificates issued by the competent authorities to avail the benefits applicable to them.
