Overview:
BSc Physiotherapy is a 3 year graduate-level course. Physiotherapists are qualified to provide preventive and therapeutic services which aim at restoring function and preventing disability arising from disease, trauma or injury.
To be considered eligible to seek admission to this course, candidates must have secured an aggregate of at least 50% marks in Class 12 in Science Stream. Admission to this course will be done either on the basis of the candidate's performance in the entrance test or on the basis of performance in the qualifying examination. Admission Procedure For B.Sc Physiotherapy:
Direct Based Admission:
- The admission is on the basis of marks secured in 10+2 examination, son in order to take admission the candidates need to perform well in their Higher Secondary Examinations
- To do so, candidates will need to first fill out the college application form
- After the announcement of the final result of the qualifying exam. The college will announce its cut-off score.
- If applicants have scored higher than or equal to the expected college's cut-off scores, they will be eligible for admission at that college.
- After that, candidates need to then visit the college for the documents verification process.
Entrance Based Admission:
- The second way for selection to the B.Sc in Physiotherapy is through entrance exams.
- For this, candidates first have to apply for the entrance exam conducted by the university/ college.
- Before the entrance exam, they need to download the Admit Card for the entrance exams and then attempt the entrance exam on the scheduled date and time
- Candidates are selected on the basis of their marks scored in the entrance exam
Eligibility For B.Sc Physiotherapy:
- Must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
- For SC/ST/OBC students, the minimum marks requirement is 45%.
- Students passing 10+2 should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their main subjects.
- Candidates should be at least 17 years of age.
