The Institute is run by Coimbatore Diocese of Church of South India, a Christian organization known for its work in the field of Education. The Bishop in Coimbatore is the Chairman of the Polytechnic. The object of the Polytechnic is to give the students a quality Technical education for all castes and creeds to become useful and practical engineers and to equip them in the service of God and people.

Qualifying Examination
A pass in the 10th Standard (SSLC) with 35 Marks in Examination or any other equivalent qualification

There is No age limit.
The following original certificates should be produced at the time of admission to the Principal
Conduct certificate and Transfer Certificate are in original from the Head of the Educational Institution in which the candidate had last studied ;
SSLC book or equivalent record ;
SSLC mark sheet or mark sheet issued by the concerned educational authority for the qualifying examination ;
Original community certificate for ST / SC / SC(A) / MBC & DNC / BC (Others) / BC (Muslims) from prescribed authority.
Qualifying  Examination


A pass in HSC / (Academic) or (Vocational) courses mentioned in the Annexure – 2 offered in the Higher Secondary Schools in Tamil Nadu affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board with eligibility for University Courses of Study or 10th Std. and 2 years I.T.I. or equivalent Examination.

There is No Age Limit.

WELL STACKED LIBRARY
CSI Polytechnic College Library situated in the heart of the Institution in the Main Building since 1984 containing more than 30,000 volumes of Book in all 10 Branches of study which
includes books on science and humanities, Religion and Reference Books. Thousands of back volumes of Periodicals Project Reports of students since 1984 and CDs.
AUDITORIUM
CSI Polytechnic College constructed multipurpose Auditorium of area about 3000 sq.ft. Utilized for Inter, Intra Polytechnic Functions, Seminars, Workshops etc.,

HOSTEL :
CSI Polytechnic College students hostel is an integral part of the college campus. Separate hostel facilities has been provided for Boys and Girls. The Mess is run on the basis of dividing system among the students with three of the nominated students as students representative.

The Principal will be “The warden” and one of the senior teaching faculty member will be the “Deputy warden” . The deputy warden will be assisted by Assistant Wardens & Supervisors.
Medical Center
OUR MEDICARE CENTER :
The college pays special attention to the health of the students and it has its own Medicare Center where the medical facilities exist for the students and staff.
For specialized treatment, students are referred to the specialist through our college .
