Admission Process

DMI Engineering College, Kanyakumari conducts admissions for its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in engineering (such as B.E./B.Tech) strictly as per Tamil Nadu government norms and Anna University guidelines. For undergraduate B.E/B.Tech courses, eligible candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board with the required minimum aggregate marks and participate in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling conducted by Anna University; seats are then allotted based on merit in +2 and TNEA ranking under Government and Management quota categories. A certain percentage of seats are reserved under Government quota, Management quota and AICTE fee waiver schemes, including provisions for lateral entry into the second year for diploma holders.
