It is a matter of immense pleasure that Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education & Research (Deemed to be University), NAAC A++ accredited, ‘A’ Grade by MHRD, has decided to open another medical college in Nagpur. DMIHER is known for its high standards in Medical Education and Health Care.

This new medical college has been aptly named after Shri Dattaji Meghe, a philanthropist and a social worker who has done pioneer work in the field of education in Maharashtra. He is a visionary and a dedicated man with a strong desire to work for the benefit of the poverty-stricken population. This medical college is another venture of the founder, to impart medical education and deliver standard health care to the needy.

Smt. Shalinitai Meghe Hospital & Research Centre is a four hundred fifty bedded hospital attached to this medical college. The hospital is fully furnished and has all modern amenities to extend health care. It has all the provisions for ICU, ICCU, NICU, PICU, and world class operation theatres. The college has an exceptional infrastructure, lecture halls with audio-visual aids, modern laboratories, a Central Library, etc.The hostels are provided with facilities for physical development like playgrounds, swimming pools, and Gymnasium.
