Deshabandhu Mahavidyalaya (DBM), located in Bardhaman (Paschim Bardhaman district), West Bengal, is a public undergraduate college established in 1973. The institution was founded under the aegis of Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Hindustan Cables Ltd., and a group of philanthropists with the aim of spreading higher education in an industrial and semi-urban region.
