Founded in the year 1994 by Shri. A.Srinivasan, the Dhanalakshmi  Srinivasan Trust has been in the forefront to implement "Right to Education" and has been providing quality education at affordable cost to the students in the region of Perambalur, Trichy and Neyveli. The Trust created out of an immense passion for contributing to the society, strives to promote the cause of education. Providing the necessary stepping stone towards individual growth, which contributes directly to the growth of a society and country as a whole, the Trust has worked towards increasing the availability of quality higher education in diverse fields keeping in mind the ever-increasing demand for professionally qualified youth.

Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Educational Empire is one of the largest multi-cultural education hub of South India. operating from its headquarters, Permbalur, Tamilnadu, offering a number of Educational courses - from Arts & Science, Engineering to advanced research in Medical Sciences.  The group has state-of-the-art campuses at Perambalur, Trichy and Chennai.   The formidable chain of Educational service, run by DS group includes a modern sophisticated 3 Medical colleges, 4 Engineering Colleges, 3 Arts and Science Colleges, 2 Colleges of Education, 3 Nursing colleges, 1 Agriculture college, 2 Pharmacy Colleges, 1 Allied Health Science, 1 Polytechnic college and 2 Higher Secondary Schools. The endowed Educational trust started  Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College (DSEC) primarily to promote Engineering / Technical Education to the Students in rural area of the backward Districts of Tamil Nadu. The DSEC (An Autonomous Institution),  established in the year of 2001 at Perambalur, Tamil Nadu has been providing 22 glorious years of Education.

The  Institution is accredited with ‘A Grade’ by NAAC in the year of 2015 and has been further Re-Accredited with the same Grade till 2025. The Institute is conferred with Autonomous status from UGC and Anna university for a period of ten years. Having achieved the Milestone of receiving Autonomy, the College has been relentlessly working with a hope of consequential development of the students in all aspects. In addition, the college is accredited by TCS. Highly Competent faculty with Industry and Academic experience caters to the needs of students on curriculum which helps them to meet the global challenges and the needs of employers. Project-based learning is incorporated to equip Research skills among the students. Various Student-centric activities such as Continuous assessment, Assignment strategies, Student initiative Material, Virtual Lab, Project Monitoring Committee, etc are conducted by the College. With regard to Training and Placement, the College organizes Personality Development programs to ensure marked transformation of students from-Campus-to-Corporate level with nearly 85% of students having been placed in various reputed industries year on year. Admission Procedure

The admission to the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering is through TNEA 2025. You can check out previous years cut-offs by following this link. Students will have to participate in the counselling conducted by TNEA based on the rank of the TNEA Engineering examination. According to the preferred seats filled by the candidate, system generated allotment will be done and admission procedure will be compacted at the institute level.

The library has online, e-journals access through DELNET services. The library has a large and constantly growing collection of online resources such as NPTEL, e-journals, e-books, and so on. These e-resources are accessible anywhere in the campus at any time. We are using campus wide unlimited access.

Book reviews and trade catalogues are circulated to the Heads of the departments and on their recommendation, the list of books and journals are finalized.The Institution has dedicated Internet Leased line of 15 Mbps, connected to more than Four hundred terminals throughout the Campus. Students and faculty are free to access internet. This helps the students to prepare papers on the latest technologies to be presented in various symposiums and seminars.We have an Indian Bank Extension Counter at our Campus. This helps all our Students and Faculty to open a bank account and make transactions safer and faster. We have ATM facility.

Transport

The Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Group of Institution has more than 125 buses which are made available to the students and the faculty members for commuting from various points in the city. All students should make use of the DS Groups Transport or should stay in the hostel. This facility has made it possible to start the classes in time and thereby helping the academic process. Our bus facilities have enabled us to maintain discipline among students.

All the buses reach the Campus before 8.15am, so that all the students and faculty can have their breakfast and get ready to attend the classes at 8.30am. The buses leave the campus at 4.20pm, which helps all the students to reach home early and safely. For the benefit of students who are attending special classes, using internet facility, library etc., special buses are arranged everyday which leaves the campus at 5.30pm.
