The Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University (DSU) is a Tamil Nadu based, leading private University founded in 2023.  The college was established under the Tamil Nadu Private Universities Act, 2019.  Shri A. Srinivasan is the Founder-Chancellor of the universtity who has ensured that the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Educational Trust (2019) has been in the forefront of providing quality education at affordable cost in the region of Perambalur. The uniqueness of DSU lies in its multi-disciplinary nature in offering a wide range of academic programmes encompassing medicine, paramedical, engineering and agricultural sciences.

Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Perambalur offers a wide range of UG, PG and Doctorate courses in the discipline of Medicine, Engineering, Nursing, Allied Science, Physiotherapy, Agriculture, Law, Occupational Therapy, Management Studies, Architecture and Pharmacy.  Chief Courses to be provided are B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Sc., B.Com+LLB, BBA+LLB, BPT, MBA, M.Tech, MCA, MHA, MBBS, M.Sc., MPT, PhD.  However the popular courses currently offered are BTech (in 12 disciplines), BSc Allied Health Science Degrees (in 10 disciplines), BSc Agri, BPT and BPharm.  Admission to DSU courses is granted on the basis of the student’s merit in the previous year’s qualifying exam and entrance test accepted by the college.  Selection Criteria is on merit and based on Entrance Exams DSUEE, JEE Main, NET, SET, GATE, NEET (UG).  DSU Perambalur also offers merit based Scholarships to deserving students.

Scholership

The candidates must be studying in Classes 11 and 12 at a recognised educational institution in India. Applicants must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class. The annual family income of the applicants from all sources must be less than or equal to₹2,50,000.

Transportation 200+ Buses
The Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Group of Institution has more than 250 buses, which are made available to the students and the faculty members from various points in the city. All students should make use of the DS Groups Transport or should stay in the hostel. This facility has made it possible to start the classes in time and thereby helping the academic process. Our bus facilities have enabled us to maintain discipline among students.

All the buses reach the Campus before 8.30 am, so that all the students and faculty can have their breakfast and get ready to attend the classes at 8.30 am. The buses leave the campus at 5.00 pm, which helps all the students to reach home early and safely. For the benefit of students who are attending special classes, using internet facility, library etc., special buses are arranged everyday which leaves the campus at 5.30pm.
