"Nuzvid", the capital seat of the well known zamindars of the celebrated Appa Rao family, has been a focal point of extraordinary social and scholarly action. Numerous a researcher and an artist had been beneficiary of yearly tip and respect from them, who other than being writers themselves are supporters of learning and expressions.

Sri Raja Rangaiah Appa Rao, Raja Saheb of Vuyyuru, had treasured the honorable thought of beginning a College at Nuzvid, about century and half.
