The College of Education under the management of benevolent and famous D.N.R. College Association in Andhra Praadesh Affiliated to Adikavi Nannaya University. The Institution had the recognition of Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bangalore. It offers courses of B.Ed and M.Ed. besides offering Research guidance at P.G. Level.

Infact the historical background of the D.N.R. College Association goes back to the year 1945.

On the eve of the formation of the West Godavari Bhimavaram College (W.G.B.College) in the year 1945, it was the fond wish of an elite section of the public to extend the educational opportunities to the public of every nook and Corner of the West Godavari District under the dynamic leadership of late Sri.Dantuluri Narayana Raju garu. Later the College was named after the founder leader and founder secretary Dantuluri Narayana Raju as D.N.R.College.

Noble and enlightened thoughts were spread and developed the college into the status of a Deemed University by introducing many new and worthy courses at the degree and post Graduate levels by starting Post Graduate Centre and some other new Colleges like College of law, College of Education, etc., Now the D.N.R.College Association is branched withdifferent faculties for Kindergarten to Post Graduate (K.G. to P.G.) level and Research facilities.

The College of Education has two two storey buildings, (one for B.Ed., and one for M.Ed.,) with well furnished class rooms, well equipped Laboratories of Psychology, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Social Studies, Educational Technology and well developed Library, play ground with all inputs.

To take up the regular teaching practice to the teacher trainees the College has two Model schools, D.N.R. English Medium High School and S.Ch.B.R.M. High School under the Control of the same Management.

With all the recipient infrastructaral facilities the College is blooming in the sphere of teaching profession to the status of I.A.S.E.. The immense experiences expressed by the well trained outgoing teachers that the congenial College atmosphere, benevolent attitude of the Management and dedicated Teacher Educators and with the blessings of the Almighty and well experienced and dynamic principal of the College and administrative staff.
