Dantuluri Narayana Raju College (D.N.R) was established in 1945, before Indian Independence, and was an offshoot of the National movement and renaissance thinking. Being agrarian, the Godavari region had been kept out of the higher academic activities in the Pre-Independence period.

Sri Dantuluri Narayana Raju, a freedom fighter, an activist and a visionary wanted to provide the uneducated rural masses with the hither to unthinkable and unreachable source for their overall development and welfare i.e. higher education. That visionary, with the help of limited number of committed lieutenants and Philanthropists, strived hard with a missionary zeal and realised the establishment of a college at Bhimavaram, Known as West Godavari Bhimavaram (W.G.B) College in 1945

Courses Eligibility
B.A. Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized school/board.
B.Com Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized school/board.

Indeed this will serve as a comprehensive document covering all facets of the institution viz. Infrastructure & learning resources, academic programmes offered, curriculum design of courses, admission procedure followed for meritorious students of all disciplines besides the scholarships made available for SC, ST & BC students.

Placements: Around 90% of students got placed in campus interviews from here. Wipro, Mahindra, etc., companies offer jobs here. The lowest salary offered is around Rs. 25,000 to 30,000 per month, and the highest salary offered is around Rs. 40,000 to 60,000 per month. The placements are good. Our seniors got jobs and got well-settled at an early age.
