Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University was established by the Government of Maharashtra vide Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University Act. No. XXII of 1989 as a Unitary University. Later, the Government of Maharashtra converted this University to the Affiliating Technological University since 2016 vide Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University Act No. XXIX of 2014 with the jurisdiction of the University as the entire state of Maharashtra. Presently 272 institutes are affiliated with the University and the total student strength is 1,36,534.

The sprawling 468 acres of the campus of this University provides as a sanctum seat of learning across the state. The University attracts meritorious students from the entire state and molds them into employable engineers and competent technocrats. This University provides well-equipped laboratories with testing and analysis facilities that can be extended for the benefit of the industries. DBATU Lonere B.Tech Admission Procedure

·         Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements.

·         Candidates who are eligible must take the MHT CET/JEE Main entrance exam.

·         The DBATU Lonere cutoff will be made announced.

·         Candidates who reach the cutoff can apply for DBATU Lonere admission.

·         The following stage is to attend CAP counselling for choice filling, choice locking, and seat allocation.

·         The final procedures are document verification and payment of the DBATU Lonere admission fee.

DBATU Lonere M.Tech Admission Procedure

·         The aspirant should get registered by visiting the official website.

·         GATE examination scores are also taken into consideration. 

·         DBATU Lonere admissions will be conducted on the basis of a centralised admission process (CAP) of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) for GATE-qualified candidates.

·         To become eligible for CAP the candidates must register online through the DTE, Maharashtra website.

·         Candidates have to appear for the CAP counselling.

·         Shortlisting of candidates for DBATU Lonere admissions will be based on the merit scores obtained in previous academics and qualifying examination scores.

·         The selected aspirant should submit the required documents.

·         The final shortlisted candidates should pay the course fees to complete the DBATU Lonere admission procedure.

DBATU Lonere Placements 2024: The Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere has a separate placement cell named as Career Development Cell. The DBATU Lonere placement cell assists students with summer and final placements by inviting recruiters to campus and hosting guest lectures from reputable industry leaders. The DBATU Lonere placement cell regularly organises technical sessions and guest lectures on themes such as personality development, group discussions, interview techniques, and mock interviews with the support of industry professionals. The DBATU Lonere placement cell prepares students for interviews by organising aptitude, logical reasoning, and many other classes.

·         The DBATU Lonere placement cell contacts companies to invite them to the campus for interviews.

·         The institute's students are informed about the placement date and the names of the companies/organisations.

Scholarships and Funding at DBATU

• The University awards scholarships to many students under various schemes.
• Meritorious students who are admitted to the University with exceptional academic performance are generally granted tuition fee waivers.
• Scholarships are provided to candidates who are of backward classes, SC/ST categories or low-income groups - less than Rs. 2 Lakh per annum.
• The University also grants scholarships to candidates who actively participate in sports and cultural events representing the institution.
