Welcome to Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology (DIT), Pimpri, Pune. The oldest campus of Dr. D. Y. Patil group of Institutions. This campus is started in year 1983 and further nurtured by our visionary Chairman Hon’ble Dr. P. D. Patil with the vision Empowerment through knowledge Better Education Better World. The institute is being progressed under the dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Dr. Somnath Patil.

The Institute is ranked in top 200 Engineering Institutions in India including IIT’s and NIT’s in NIRF ranking framework by MHRD, Government of India. The institute is Accredited by NAAC with a CGPA of 3.74 on a four point scale at 'A++' Grade. Centralized Admission Process (CAP)
The State CET Cell releases the Provisional Allotment Status of CAP Round(s) online at www.mahacet.org. The Centralized Admission Process (CAP) includes registration, document verification and application form confirmation at any selected Setu Suvidha Kendra. It is conducted for admission to First Year of Four Year duration Full Time Engineering and Technology program (B.E./ B. Tech).
Candidates have to Register on the official website of State Cell of Maharashtra to participate in the Counseling of MHT CET. Candidates have to fill Personal Details first and then Application ID and Password will be generated for further Counseling Process. Candidates have to upload the Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature. The Candidates have to send duly filled in and signed Application Form by speed post/courier/by hand delivery for verification & confirmation to Admission Centre designated by the Competent Authority for these admissions. The Competent Authority shall publish the provisional Merit List.
DYPIET Pimpri Admission Process
Dr DY Patil Institute of Technology Pune offers admission to a total of 18 courses. The college offers admission to courses at the UG, PG and doctoral levels. Dr DY Patil Institute of Technology Pune admission to the B.E course is done on the basis of JEE Main or MHT CET entrance examinations. The college offers admission to the B.E course at the UG level. In B.E, the college offers 9 specialisations. DDYPIT Pune admission to the B.E course is offered on the basis of the JEE Main entrance examination.
