Institute level Admissions

20% of the total seats are assigned to the college management for admissions. Please contact the admission cell in-charge in the college premises for more details.

Centralized Admission Process (CAP)

The State CET Cell releases the Provisional Allotment Status of CAP Round(s) online at www.mahacet.org. The Centralized Admission Process (CAP) includes registration, document verification and application form confirmation at any selected Setu Suvidha Kendra. It is conducted for admission to First Year of Four Year duration Full Time Engineering and Technology program (B.E./ B. Tech).

Candidates have to Register on the official website of State Cell of Maharashtra to participate in the Counseling of MHT CET. Candidates have to fill Personal Details first and then Application ID and Password will be generated for further Counseling Process. Candidates have to upload the Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature. The Candidates have to send duly filled in and signed Application Form by speed post/courier/by hand delivery for verification & confirmation to Admission Centre designated by the Competent Authority for these admissions. The Competent Authority shall publish the provisional Merit List.

Dr DY Patil Institute of Technology Pune has dedicated training and placement for guiding and training the students to get placed in top companies. Dr DY Patil Institute of Technology Pune placement cell provides training such as technical skills, personality development, group discussion, resume writing, mock interviews, aptitude training conducted by internal senior faculty and industry experts. DY Patil Pimpri placement cell also organises career counselling sessions and Industrial visits are conducted to provide students with a practical perspective on the industry.

DY Patil  Placement Procedure

• Candidates interested in participating in the placement process must submit an application to the placement department at DY Patil Pimpri, along with an updated resume.

• The DY Patil Pimpri training and placement cell sends out invitations to various companies for recruitment.

• Companies interested in recruiting from DY Patil Pimpri respond to the invitation, providing details such as job description, eligibility criteria, and proposed recruitment dates.

• The placement cell then notifies students about the upcoming DY Patil Pimpri campus placements, including details like date, time, and venue.

• On the prescribed dates, the companies visit the campus to conduct the recruitment process. This process can be conducted either online or offline, depending on the organisation's preference.

• The DY Patil Pimpri recruitment process typically includes a pre-placement talk, an aptitude test, and technical and HR interviews.

• Candidates who are selected after all rounds receive an offer letter detailing their joining date and salary information.
