Dr. Hari Singh Gour University (also known as DHSGSU or Sagar University) is a renowned Central University located in Sagar city, Madhya Pradesh, India. Established on 18 July 1946 by the visionary educationist and philanthropist Dr. Sir Hari Singh Gour, it was originally named the University of Saugor and later renamed to honour its founder. The university was created with the purpose of expanding access to higher education and fostering intellectual growth across central India.
