Medical Faculty of DDU: Dr. N. D. Desai Faculty of Medical Science and Research is the fifth Faculty to be started by the Dharmsinh Desai University of Nadiad (DDU) after Faculty of Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Dental Science and Faculty of Management and Information Science.
Medical College: Medical Council of India has granted permission to start this new Medical College with annual intake capacity of 150 MBBS students from the academic year 2019-20.
Situated on sprawling 20 acre campus fulfilling all the statutory requirements of the Medical Council of India, the Institute aims to be a leading institute providing state-of-the-art medical education to the aspiring young doctors.
Hospital: The Medical College is associated with Dr. N. D. Desai Hospital, a 737 bedded multispecialty hospital that is providing FREE health care to the people not just of Kheda District but also of the surrounding under-served areas.

Dr. N. D. Desai Faculty of Medical Science and Research (NDDFMSR), Nadiad has permission to admit 150 students to MBBS course every year.
Out of these 150 seats, 112 seats are ‘Government Quota’ (GQ) seats, 23 seats are ‘NRI Quota’ (NQ) seats and 15 seats are ‘Management Quota’ (MQ) seats.
Admission on all 150 seats, including all the NQ and MQ seats are regulated by the Admission Rules of the Govt. of Gujarat. Admission Rules-2017 and its Amendment of 2018 are available elsewhere on this website. Entire admission process is carried out by the Admission Committee constituted by the Government of Gujarat (Admission Committee for Professional UG Medical Courses -ACPUGMEC). Admission process is fully on-line. Dates for filling up on-line form, choice filling etc. will be published by the ACPUGMEC in newspapers and on its website.
No admission is given by the Institute directly.

The College has a beautiful campus spread over 42 acres.
The Medical College is located on a 20-acre campus that meets all the legal requirements of the Medical Council of India.
This includes 47731 books, 6468 magazines, 235 journals including 48 International and 187 National journals, and online resources.
The library is open on weekdays from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm and Saturdays from 8.30 am to 1:30 pm.
Exam time opens from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm.
The Library covers an area of 10709 per square foot or 994.88 per square meter with a Seating capacity of 378 students.
The college provides transportation facilities for students and staff.
