East West Institute of Technology is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. It is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and the UGC. The college has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) as well as NAAC.  EWIT is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.  It is Ranked under NIRF and ARIIA.

 
EWIT offers a wide range of UG, PG and Doctoral programs in the fields of Engineering and Management as well as Computer Application.  The courses offered are B.E in 10 Disciplines, B.Sc Honours, M.Tech in 5 specializations, MBA In 3 specializations, MCA and Ph.D in 8 areas of specializations. The admissions to these programs are on the basis of entrance exams:

B.E.            - CET / COMED K / Management.

M.Tech      - PG-CET/Management.

MBA/MCA  - K PGCET

Ph.D                    - The candidate shall have passed with minimum of 50% of marks in the qualifying examination of the respective branches and for SC/ST/Category for Karnataka students not less than 45% to register as Ph.D candidate.

East West Institute of Technology, Bangalore Admission Process

East West Institute of Technology, (EWIT) Bangalore offers admission to UG, PG, and Ph.D courses. EWIT UG PG admission is offered on the basis of candidates' performance in the relevant entrance exams and performance in past academic (qualifying) examinations. Interested and Following that, candidates who are shortlisted will be called for the courselling round which will be held on the college campus. Candidates will be offered EWIT admission after the document verification and payment of the course fee.

East West Institute of Technology Bangalore has its own placement and training cell to facilitate the placements for all students. The Training and Placement department of EWIT strongly believes in engineering young minds to be dedicated, disciplined, and determined. The EWIT training and placement cell is playing a major and crucial role in transforming the students to the expectations of the industry. The placement cell organizes various activities such as mock tests in offline and online mode before the EWIT campus placement process. Every year many renowned recruiters participate in the EWIT placement drive to recruit young talent.

The East-West Institute of Technology placement cell, besides providing placement assistance, also helps students with career counseling. Seminars, Workshops, and Group Discussions on relevant topics, conducted at regular intervals. The students are provided with information on topics ranging from technology to avenues available for higher studies in India and abroad and career opportunities in various organizations. Sustained efforts of the placement officer, the management, and the senior faculty have already started giving rich dividends.

Scholarship
Students are hereby informed to apply for various scholarships offered by Government of Karnataka and Government of India (GOI) National Scholarship/AICTE and other funded scholarships based on their eligibility criteria.

Guidelines to apply for SSP scholarship (Sponsored by Karnataka state government)

Students can apply by logging to ssp.postmatric.karnataka.gov.in.
The data such as Name, date of birth and Parent’s name should be correct as per the Aadhar card.
The students should have valid Income Certificate in the name of the student by mentioning the total family income.
Student’s Bank Account must be seeded to Aadhar card (Through NPCI mapping)
Minority students have to apply first in National scholarship and get NSP ID before applying in SSP.
Students admitted directly and who is not having counseling number will be treated as management quota.
The students who have applied last year they can renew the same by logging to SSP portal by furnishing the required data without fail in order to receive the scholarship this year.
