Erode College of Law – ELC is a Private College which was established in 2020, after the Trust obtained permission from the Tamil Nadu State Government under G.O. (Ms.) No. 198 dated July 24, 2020. The Erode College of Law was established by the Sri Sai Sindu Foundation Trust under the supervision of Thiru Sinduravichandran, the Chairman of the Trust. It has the distinction of being the first Law College in Erode District, and a Top Rated Private Law College in the state of Tamil Nadu. The Vision of the Trust to provide Social and economic upliftment of the people around this area through value based quality legal education. The mission of the trust committed is to serve the society with humility and trust, devoid of exploitation to impart value based higher education, particularly in the socially and economically deprived sections of this area, to make students of this institution a worthy Law serving citizens of our glorious mother land.

Erode College of Law is located at Erode - Perundurai Rd, Perundurai, Tamil Nadu on a vast 10 Acre campus which is away from pollution dust. It has verdant and Green surroundings giving it a very serene look. Erode Railway Station is 18.6 Kms from the College Campus and Coimbatore Airport is 83 Kms away.

Erode College of Law is affiliated with Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (TNDALU), Chennai, and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi. The College is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Erode College of Law has Two Under Graduate Courses to offer currently. It has the 5-Year Integrated B.A., L.L.B and the 3-Year L.L.B Programme options.

Eligibility for admission to the 5 Year Course is a pass in HSC with 50% Marks and for the 3 Year course it is a Graduation Pass in any discipline with 45% Marks. The sanctioned per year Intake is 60 Students for each academic course per year.

Admission Procedure

​Erode College of Law, affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University and approved by the Bar Council of India, offers admissions to its LL.B. (3-year) and B.A. LL.B. (5-year) programs.
