GLS University, commonly known as GLSU, is a private university located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The university was established in April 2015 under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009. It is sponsored by the Gujarat Law Society, which was established in 1927. The Gujarat Law Society was promoted by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Shri Ganesh Mavlankar and Shri I M Nanavati with the purpose of promoting excellence in education. GLS University aims to provide quality, innovative and industry oriented education.
