Eligiblity
Must be a citizen of India.

Age between 17 and 25 years as of 31st December of the admission year (relaxation of up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

Must be a domicile of West Bengal.

Must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects, obtaining at least 50% marks (47.5% for reserved categories).

Must have qualified and obtained a rank in the NEET-UG examination conducted by NTA.

Seat Intake: 100 students (with reservations for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD, and ICAR nominees).

Admission Process
Entrance Examination & Written Test
Admission is based on performance in a university-conducted written examination followed by a personal interview (PI).-
Written Test contributes 70 marks, while academic performance carries 30 marks, totaling 100 marks.

A minimum combined score of 50 out of 100 (50%) is required to qualify.

The exam typically consists of 70 MCQs, with a duration of 1 hour 45 minutes. Negative marking applies (–0.25 for each wrong answer, +1 for correct)
\ICAR AIEEA PG (Optional Pathway)

Candidates who qualify through ICAR’s AIEEA PG examination may be exempted from the written test, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.Final Selection
Selection considers the weighted total:

70% from entrance test (unless ICAR exempted)

Eligiblity
You must hold a B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from a recognized university.

A minimum academic performance of 55% aggregate marks (or OGPA of 6.2 on a 10-point scale) is required. For SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD candidates, the requirement is slightly relaxed to 50% marks or OGPA of 6.0.

Submission of the Final Transcript or Provisional Degree Certificate is mandatory.
