Fatima Michael College of Engineering & Technology (FMCET) is a Top Class and Premier Engineering and Technology College in Tamil Nadu. It was founded in 2009 by Ln. Dr. M. Stalin Arockiaraj, Chairman of St. Michael Group of Institutions which is an offshoot of St Michael Educational and Charitable Trust which was laid in 1993 by the visionary Kalvi Rathna Late Ln Dr V Michael, B.E, M.I.S.T.E., PhD (USA). The objective in setting up FMCET was a clear mission to provide to quality education in a modern supportive environment.

The beautiful, away from pollution campus of Fatima Michael College of Engineering & Technology is a 16 Acre campus a little away from Madurai City on State Highway 33, Madurai Sivagangai Highway, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, and is 24 Kms away from Madurai Junction Railway Station, 19 Kms from MGR Bus Stand, Mattuthavani and 38 Kms from Madurai Airport.

FMCET is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
