Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology (short name GCET) is a private autonomous engineering institution located in Hyderabad, Telangana. It was established in 2005 by the Teja Educational Society with the vision of providing quality technical education and producing competent engineers with strong ethical values, innovation skills, and industry readiness.

GCET is situated at Cheeryal (V), Keesara (M), Medchal–Malkajgiri District, Hyderabad, Telangana – 501301. The college campus spreads across approximately 30+ acres in a serene and green environment, away from city congestion yet well-connected to Hyderabad through road transport. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) and has been granted Autonomous Status by UGC. Admissions to B.Tech are primarily through TS EAMCET, while M.Tech admissions are based on GATE/TS PGECET scores. MBA admissions are conducted through TS ICET. Eligibility for B.Tech requires 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. M.Tech requires a relevant B.Tech degree, and MBA requires a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Scholarships are available as per Telangana State Government norms, including fee reimbursement schemes for eligible categories.

Admission Criteria

B.Tech Eligibility & Selection Criteria

• Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in the 10+2 level examination in the Science stream with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.
• To get selected, Candidates will have to appear for either the TS EAMCET entrance examination.
• Further, students need to register for TS EAMCET counselling. Students need to fill out the college and course preferences, followed by the allotment of seats as per the candidate’s preference and rank.

M.Tech Admission 2025

GCET provides M.Tech admission at the postgraduate level in Computer Science Engineering. The admission procedure, eligibility, and selection criteria are explained below.

• For M.Tech admissions, the candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field of Engineering & Technology from a recognised university with at least 50% Marks in aggregate.
• Performance in the GATE entrance exam is considered for M.Tech admissions.

Scholarship

Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology offers up to 100% scholarships to meritorious students based on their ranking in the EAMCET examination. The scholarship is available for all 4 years of the B.Tech. course and will also be given to students who have chosen core branches like EEE, Mech and Civil Engineering. Students who have chosen courses like AIML, Data Science and Cyber Security as their minor courses in the 3rd year of their B.Tech. course can also avail of the scholarships.

The college facilitates needy students with the academic awards mentioned below:

• Raja Reddy Memorial is awarded to the college topper and also to the toppers of I, II, III and IV years of various Engineering branches. Cash prize is given to each student who tops in each branch for every batch.
• Narasimha Reddy Memorial for academic excellence is awarded to toppers in MBA and MCA courses. Each student is given a cash prize who tops in these courses for every batch.
