GITAM, short for Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, is a Deemed-to-be University with a campus in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is part of the larger GITAM University system founded in 1980 by philanthropist Dr. M. V. V. S. Murthi, inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.
