Global Group of Institutes, Amritsar, commonly known as GGI, is a private higher education group established in 2008 by Dr B S Chandi and Dr Akashdeep Singh Chandi. The institutes were founded with the objective of providing affordable professional education of international standards and preparing students for the requirements of Indian and overseas industries, research and educational institutions. The campus is situated about 11 km from Amritsar Bus Terminus, 12 km from the railway station and 16 km from Amritsar International Airport. The campus covers approximately 25 acres of lush green land and is located on the national highway, providing convenient road connectivity. The institute also operates its own transport services from Amritsar and nearby towns and areas.

The Global Group of Institutes has NAAC A plus accreditation and recognition under Section 2f of the UGC Act 1956. Its programmes are associated with I K Gujral Punjab Technical University, Guru Nanak Dev University and Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training, depending on the programme. The institutes have programmes approved or recognized by bodies including AICTE, Pharmacy Council of India and Bar Council of India. The institution also reports NBA accreditation for its B Tech Mechanical Engineering programme for the 2016 to 2019 period.

Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Physics and Mathematics should be compulsory subjects.
• Candidates should have studied Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject or another approved third subject.
• Admission may be based on JEE Main and the applicable counselling or merit process.

Pharm.D

Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry along with Mathematics or Biology.
• Candidates with D.Pharm qualification may also be eligible as per applicable regulations.
