Placement

Global Institute of Engineering & Technology has been the pioneer in setting up a placement cell right since the inception even when it was perceived as a superfluous department by most of the other peer colleges. The placement cell as we call it is one of the active places in GIET. It is headed by G Ahmed Zeeshan.

The Training and Placement Cell of the institute handles all aspects of placements at GIET for the graduating students of all departments by keeping liaison with various industrial groups and research organizations. The department works in close co-ordination with a student placement committee comprising students chosen from various departments. At GIET training programs in Soft skills, Personality development, aptitude/interview/group discussions competencies are arranged free of charge prior to the commencement of actual Placement activity.

Both vegetarian and non vegetarian items are served in the menu, Canteen serves food also to students away from home (hostel).Tiffins are seved in the morning like Idli, wada, poori, dosa, upma, varieties of sandwiches and frankies.For lunch canteen serves all kinds of rice and roti along with an option of tiffins.In the evening light snacks like sandwiches, patties, cakes, samosa, bhajji are seved.Cool drinks, energy drinks, Chocolates, Juices, Milk Shakes, Ice-creams, bakery items such as cakes, samosas, puffs, cream buns, patties, variety of salads also tea, milk & coffee are made available whole day.

Understanding the fact that being physically active can improve brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of diseases and improve ability to do day to day activities, GIET has an In- Campus Gymnasium fully furnished with all the facilities required.Walking on Par with FIT INDIA, with an aim of ensuring Mental Wellness of the Institution and help staff & students to handle stress related issues in day to day life, GIET has taken up an initiative to start Wellness Centre at GIET- Physical Education Department Counselors Guide Students and faculty and suggest them suitable exercises and stress buster activities to manage stress related issues in academics. To address sudden injuries, ill–health issues of staff & students during academic hours, GIET maintains emergency First-aid facilities in the campus. • Hostel Block at Global Institute of Engineering & Technology is at the North Wing of the Campus.
