Admission Procedure
Each year 150 seats are available for admission to the graduate medical course, leading to the award of the degree of M.B.B.S. of Gujarat University.

Prospective students for an undergraduate course leading towards a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree must have completed a HSC (10+2, or high school) with the Science stream, including the subjects Biology, Chemistry and Physics with at least 50% marks.

Almost all the students in our college got placed as a doctor in government hospitals as a debt for bond. The highest package offered is approximately 60,000 to 90,000 per month in government hospitals, and approximately 1-1.25 Lacs in private hospitals.

Hostels
The Institute is a residential campus in which the faculty members, staff and the students live on campus. There are 2 hostels for undergraduate students (1for boys and 1 for girls) with a capacity to accommodate 350 students in each. There is separate hostel for the Resident Doctors.

These include every part of the human body. The human fetus from a month old till its mature stage, and other rarities such as cysts removed from the body, are all on display, making it veritable bank of a visual reference.

GMERS Medical College is having well established Animal House. It is under the Department of Pharmacology. It is located in a separate block. It provides animal care, experimental facilities. Proper environmental temperature is maintained in Animal-rooms through air-conditioning in hot seasons and hot-blower during the cold seasons. The species-wise standard diet is provided to the housed animals.

There is an E Library Facility in central library with 25 computers which can be used for education / examination purpose also

The college is located in General Hospital Campus in Gandhinagar. It is just a walkable distance from the State transport Bus terminus
