Godavari College of Engineering is just one of the venture of Godavari Foundation set up by person with high academic record at the behest of very young altruist Dr. Ulhas Patil in 1999 at Jalgaon. College is approved by AICTE, New Delhi; recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra and affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere (DBATU State Level University).

Jalgaon, developing as a decent city, with district headquarter, is famous all over India as the center of foremost banana growing area. It has recently acquired the fame as “GOLD CITY” for heavy gold trading and its MIDC has several industries of international repute. The district has been producing intellectual manpower spread not only all over India but through major developed and developing countries in the world.

Scholarship

As per our records, Godavari College of Engineering can offer scholarships for the session 2023-24 for various programs. However, you should enquire about scholarships from the college officials. Remember the minimum fee for the program at this institute is Rs.18,000.

Godavari College of Engineering offers below mentioned facilities to all its students and staff members to increase the work efficiency of both students as well as teachers, because when both of them will be happy, academic results would be outstanding and it would directly lead to institute growth.

Digital Classrooms: The GCOE has developed modern classrooms to make the environment more interactive between students and between students and teachers during the teaching-learning process. And to facilitate easy e-learning to students, these classrooms are well-resourced with various hi-tech facilities like LCD projectors, advanced video screen, digital sound system & AV facilities with CC cameras. 

Computer Labs: College also has well-maintained computer centers to make students digitally proficient. Here students are taught different things like coding skills, presentation skills along with how to develop software and use them. These labs are connected with each other through high speed internet connectivity and there are 60 Quad core Processor Computers with high-end licensed software for various engineering applications, DLP projectors, interactive white board and public addressing system.

Library: The GCOE has a fully developed library spread over an area of 492 sq. meter to fulfill the academic requirements of students, scholars and faculty and supplement their existing knowledge through various resources. This library is managed by highly experienced and qualified staff members and is also a home of 20000+ volumes of text and reference books, periodicals, journals and daily newspapers. Students have open access to the library, reference library and a vast treasure of current and back volumes of Journals. In addition to all this, facilities like E-Library (DELNET/INFLIBNET), ACM, IEEE & Springer E-Journals, J-Gate E-Books, selective dissemination of Information, current awareness service, OPAC Search (Open Public Access Catalog), reprographic services, book bank facility, 24x7 reading room facility and internet facility for students are provided by library officials.

Sports and Gym: For the purpose of strengthening students physically and mentally so that they can properly focus on their studies and give awesome results during exams, college has the facility of both sports and gym. Both outdoor games such as Cricket, Football and Hockey, Softball, Basketball courts, Volleyball, HandBall, Athletics, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and indoor games like Badminton, Table Tennis and Chess etc. are played by students and many of them have represented the college at both national and international level.

The institute has its own fleet of buses which not only take care of daily transportation , but are also used for students outings like NSS programme, study tours and industrial visits etc.

Since not everyone owns a car or lives within walking distance of their school, a bus may be the only method of transportation that they have. Access to quality education is critical for all children, which makes school buses an absolute necessity.

This may cause students to not be able to travel to important places that are crucial to their daily lives; especially school. Lack of transportation can cause students to either be tardy or have numerous absences.
