Admission Process

The candidate shall have passed the second year of Pre-University or XII standard or equivalent examination and shall have secured not less than 45% in the aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the following subjects, namely, Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Electronics and Computer Science provided that, the candidate shall have studied and passed English as one of the subjects.

However, in the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and other backward classes, the eligibility shall be 40% in the aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the following subjects, namely, Chemistry, Bio-technology, Biology, Electronics and Computer Science.

Gopalan College of Engineering and Management Bangalore placements 2021 witnessed 15 students from CSE and ECE branches placed. There is not enough data released by the management regarding the recently concluded placements. The highest package offered during GCEM placement 2019 stood at INR 18 LPA. The placement percentage in 2020 stood at 91%.

Statistics prove that the bus is the safest method of transportation. About 24 million students depend on college bus transportation services every year for more than 4 billion miles. This is primarily due to a faster lifestyle and increased safety threats so, no wonder that a lot of parents depend on bus transportation services for their child.

Gopalan College of Engineering arranges transportation for the students upwards only on the routes as determined by the college.

Once the route has been finalised no changes/ diversion will be entertained. In case of a change of address resulting in a change of route, parents should inform the college transport authorities in writing, to facilitate efficient planning. Drivers are not authorised or permitted to take decisions.

Each bus has been given a mobile phone for emergency use only, and drivers are not permitted to use the phone while driving.

Students using college transport are required to follow the guidelines as per the college Code of Conduct on college buses.
