This is an initiative by the Gopalan Foundation, a part of the renowned Gopalan Group that has a giant presence in the knowledge city with a prestigious global clientele. With many other educational ventures like the Gopalan National School, Gopalan International School and Gopalan College of Engineering and Management across Bangalore, the Gopalan School of Architecture and Planning is yet another milestone in the journey to excel in education.

Placement Activities in GSAP
Professional training is one of the biggest milestones in the journey of an architecture student. The student is expected to be exposed to the preparation of working drawings, detailing, preparation of architectural models, computer applications in design and drafting, filing system with respect to documents, drawing, and preparation of tender documents. The students are also given exposure to the site in respect of supervision of the construction activity, observing the layout on site, the study of the stacking methods of various building materials, and the study of taking measurements and recording.

At GSAP, we make consistent efforts to establish linkages with industries & link with institutes of higher learning to benefit the students. Team GSAP proactively assists students in getting their internships in good firms both in India and abroad. Eminent persons from architectural practice are invited to interact with the students so that the students are in constant touch with the current trends in the industry. Alumni of GSAP placed successfully visit the school and share their experiences with their peers to assist and guide them regarding internship and architectural careers. GSAP is fortunate to be part of the Gopalan Foundation- pioneers in the construction industry; few students also pursue their internships there and benefit from the same. Sessions on higher education and opportunities are also arranged so that students are aware of the possibilities after B. Arch. in India & other countries.
