The college is affiliated to the North Maharashtra University Jalgaon as this university was formed by slicing off the region formerly attached to Pune University. It is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Government College of Engineering, Jalgaon, offers B.Tech program in six disciplines and the basic eligibility criteria for admission to the course is passing 10+2 in science stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate in marks.

Aspiring candidates can apply online through the MHT CET website before the last date.
Payment of fees can be made online via credit card/ debit card, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards/ mobile wallets.
Candidates who satisfy the MHT CET
cut off must register themselves for the counselling process.
