Government Engineering College, Mosale Hosahalli is one of the reputed Technical colleges started by the Government of Karnataka in the year 2019 with the main objective of providing quality technical education to aspiring and deserving students from the low income groups, particularly from the rural areas in and around Hassan Taluk.
GECM has a huge Campus size of 15 acres, located in Kenchattahally, Moselehosahally Road, Hassan, Karnataka. It is just 1 km towards East from Hassan District HQ and is about 187 Km from the state capital Bangaluru
The GEC Mosale Hosahalli is Affliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagaum and is Approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
Government Engineering College Mosale Hosahalli is a well-known institution offering a range of 5 UG courses in Full Time mode. Students can choose from B.E. Degree courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with an annual intake of 60 seats each. The merit-based admission process of students to BE Degree program is done by centralized selection through Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
