Government Law College, Madurai - GLCM was established in the year 1974 and affiliated to the Tamilnadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University. GLC Madurai, is a pioneer Law Institution in Tamil Nadu. Mr P Kumaran, B.Sc. M.L, Ph.D is the current Principal having assumed office in June 2023.UG and PG Courses.

GLCM is located at Dr Thangaraj Salai, Mellur, Tallakulam, Madurai, Tamil Nadu on a 4 Acres Campus. Madurai Junction Railway Station is 4.7 Kms from the College while Madurai Airport is 4 Kms away.

GLCM offers 2 Under Graduate Courses. A 5 Year B.A, B.L Course and another B.L Course for 3 Years. It also has a 2 Year Full Time M.L Post Graduate Course (Property Law). • A candidate who has passed the B.L. Degree Examination and has secured not less than 50% of the aggregate marks in all the Three Years of the Three Year B.L.
