The college was established in 2025 to boost medical education and health services in Rajasthan’s desert regions. It has approval from the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is affiliated with Rajasthan University of Health Sciences. The intake for MBBS in its inaugural academic session (2025-26) is 50 students.The college campus is planned over about 60 acres, with a built-up academic area of approximately 5,23,840 sq. ft. The project cost is about ₹ 325 crores, part of a centrally sponsored scheme to set up new medical colleges attached to existing district or referral hospitals.
