Admission Procedure

Admission to Government Medical College, Jalna, involves first appearing for the NEET-UG exam, then registering for the Maharashtra state counseling process via the DMER Maharashtra website. • Register for Counselling

  • As GMC Jalna is in Maharashtra — you must participate in the state counselling conducted by the state counselling authority (State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra) for state-quota seats. 

  • For All-India Quota (AIQ) seats, counselling is as per national/central guidelines (through central counselling mechanism) if applicable. 

• Fill Choices / Preferences

  • During counselling you need to “fill in choices” (i.e. select your preferred colleges — GMC Jalna among them) in order of priority. 

• Seat Allotment

Eligibility

• Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Biotechnology) and English. 

• Minimum marks: 50% in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) for general category; 40% for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) as per reservation criteria.
