Government Medical College, Krishnagiri is a co-educational college located in Krishnagiri, in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.  It was established in 2021 by the Government of Tamil Nadu to provide quality medical education to students from the region and to address the shortage of doctors in the state.

The Government Medical College and Hospital is located NH 48, Kurubarapalli, Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu.  The proposed GMC Krishnagiri project involves the construction of new hospital, institutional and residential buildings for the establishment of Government Medical College & Hospital at Krishnagiri District. The new buildings for the hospital campus will be constructed on 46.31 acres.

Government Medical College, Krishnagiri is well-known for its MBBS course, offers the UG Degree program in Medicine & Health Sciences in Full Time mode.  These programs are delivered by highly experienced faculty.  The Institute offers a course that is approved by NMC. Most importantly, this course with 150 seats is imparted at affordable fees, which increase accessibility and allow students the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in their chosen field.  The admission to the MBBS program is done through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The Government of India, State Government & Trust-sponsored Fee Concessions and Scholarships are available to deserving students. To avail these concessions & scholarships, the students should apply in the prescribed form. The payment of the Scholarship amount is conditional to securing 75% of attendance. The Fee concessions & scholarships are liable to be withdrawn due to poor attendance, misconduct or any arrear in the previous year.
