Admission Procedure

Admission to Government Medical College, Mahabubnagar is based on NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) scores and requires participation in the counselling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the All India Quota, and by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) for the State Competent Authority Quota.

• NEET‑UG Exam

  • You need to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ‑ UG (NEET‑UG), conducted by NTA. 

• Counselling

  • Once the NEET‑UG results are out, counselling is done by the state: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana.

  • There are quotas: State quota (majority seats), All India Quota (AIQ) for 15%.

2. Dr KVR Prasad Memorial Scholarship by HES Society

   Eligibility Criteria (for ePASS in Telangana)
