Admission Procedure

• Counselling / Seat Allotment

  • Participate in the counselling process for Andhra Pradesh. This is usually done via Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences (YSRUHS). 

  • Also apply under the All‑India Quota (AIQ) if applicable. 

  • Fill your preferred colleges (including GMC Paderu) during choice filling. You will be allocated seat(s) based on rank, availability, reservation rules. 

• Document Verification
  Once a seat is allocated, you must submit the required documents, typically including but not limited to:

  • NEET admit card & scorecard/rank letter 

  • Class 10 certificate (for date of birth) 

  • Class 12 marks sheet & certificate 

  • Migration certificate (if applicable)

  • Caste / reservation certificate if applying under reserved category

  • Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as subjects. 

  • Minimum aggregate in PCB subjects:

Since Government Medical College Paderu is newly established and began operations in the academic year 2024 25 there is currently no placement record available. However like all government medical colleges in India students who complete the MBBS program are required to undergo a one year compulsory internship in the affiliated government hospital. This internship provides hands on clinical experience across various departments such as medicine surgery pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology. After completing the MBBS and internship students become eligible for permanent registration as doctors and can pursue postgraduate studies or apply for government or private sector jobs in healthcare.
