Admission Process

The Process for MBBS Kerala Counseling includes a counseling process for 3182 MBBS and 2077 BDS seats that will be allotted in the government and private medical colleges in Kerala.
The process of counseling for MBBS in Kerala is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination Kerala. NEET counseling is usually conducted online through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) in three stages, including a mop-up round.
The application process for MBBS admission in Kerala is done online. Candidates have to go to the official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) and have to fill up the application form. The fee for the application forms for General category candidates is Rs. 1000 and for SC/ST candidates, it is Rs. 500.

Medical College, Thrissur is designed to provide health and scientific information to medical professionals, faculties, graduate and post graduate students and medical researchers of the institution. The vast amount of newly published medical literature available in the Central Library help the medical community to improve, update, assess or evaluate health care.The department of Physical Education & sports was established in 1983. The College has a adequate sports ground in the campus which is spacious enough for playing cricket, volley ball, football & athletics events.

The college has a well-equipped gymnasium which is kept open throughout the day. The major equipments available includes: Treadmill, Bicycle, Dumbbells, Rack, Abdominal exerciser, and Parallel bar. Separate timing slots are allotted for boys , girls as well as staff members for utilization of gymnasium facility . The physical health of students and staff is maintained by encouraging yoga, Students are sensitized to the concept of Yoga for healthy living in the orientation program.Starting from OP ticket printing in 2015 under eHospital , OP ticket, Admission, Billing, LAB Reports, PACS, queue management etc. have all become completely computer based from 2016.

A student once admi ed in the hostel , will continue to be a hostel inmate throughout the year unless otherwise debarred from the hostel on disciplinary grounds. Rooms will be re-allo ed every year by the Assistant Warden subject to availability. Every student must be well acquainted with all the rules and regulations of the hostel.
