This report seeks to present a descriptive summary of our sincere efforts and measures which were initiated by the institution after accreditation by NAAC in Since the accreditation in 2005, and working on the recommendations of the peer team of NAAC, the College has been meticulously planning and executing strategies to meet out the challenges to augment the need of the students, society and the community. Learning has been made student centric. Soft skill classes that groom the students for the job market have been introduced by the University. Research activities in the College are expanding to wider horizons with considerable increase in the number of Research scholars/publications. Research activities in newer avenues with funds received from national organizations have been initiated. The Institution adopts latest technology to augment life-skills of rural students. This report is as per the prescribed format. It contains the Criteria Wise Analytical Report and Evaluative Report of the Departments with other necessary information and annexure. At this juncture, I would like to acknowledge and appreciate the sincere, dedicated, untiring and timely target oriented efforts of the IQAC-NAAC team and all the Staff members without whose cooperation and efforts, the new heights scaled by the institution could not have been achieved. In preparation for its cycle II of accreditation, the college made the self study report evaluating quality in terms of sustenance and enhancement and the continuous improvement of the college in the past five years, based on the seven criteria. SCHOLARSHIP FOR SC/ST
Students who belong to Tamilnadu can avail the state scholarship for 9 months with the recommendation of the principal. Family income should be Rs.12,000/- per annum.
Converted Christian Adi Dravidar students whose parents income is below Rs.50,000/ can avail the scholarship.

MBC scholarships

MBC students to avail concession on books and hostel fees. Their parents income should not exceed Rs.50,000/- per annum.
