Rani Anna Government College for Women, is a general degree college located in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. The college is named after Rani Annadurai, wife of C N Annadurai, the first chief minister of Tamil Nadu. It was established in the year 1970. The college is affiliated with Manonmaniam Sundaranar University

Admissions to all the courses are made purely on the basis of merit following the reservation policy and the norms prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu under single window system.
After the declaration of +2 results the filled in forms are submitted to the office.

Placements: About 10% of students got selected through the campus interview. There were some top recruiting companies for our course. About 10% of students got internships. Top roles were offered in our course. Above 80% of students have been placed well in this college. about 70% of internship opportunities are provided to students. The top roles offered are Dietician, nutrition, chemistries, interior, fashion etc. Software engineer-related and testing courses were available in this college. Placements were good in this college. Almost 70% of students got placed in top companies.
