Admission Criteria

MBBS Admission

Grant Medical College offers admission to the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). The Minimum eligibility criteria for the MBBS course are that candidates must have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry & Biology with at least 50% marks.Students also need to appear for the NEET UG entrance exam, followed by the counselling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota & Maharashtra State CET Cell for State Quota. Candidates need to register on the MCC official website. The total fees for the MBBS program is INR 7.64 Lakhs.

MD Admission

Grant Medical College offers admission to the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program in 17 specialisations, such as General Medicine, Radiodiagnosis, Anaesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Pathology, Psychiatry and many more.

For admission to the MD program, candidates must have completed an MBBS degree from a recognised College/university. Students also need to appear for the NEET PG entrance examination, followed by NEET PG/SS counselling, either through MCC (all-India quota) or state PG counselling. The total fees for the MD program is INR 4.69 Lakhs.

MS Admission

Grant Medical College offers admission to the Master of Surgery (M.S.) in 5 specialisations, such as General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ear, Nose, Throat, and Anatomy.

For admission to the MS program, candidates must have completed a graduation from a recognised College/university. Students also need to appear for the NEET PG entrance examination, followed by NEET PG/SS counselling, either through MCC (all-India quota) or state PG counselling. The total fees for the MS program is INR 4.68 Lakhs.

BSc Nursing Admission

Grant Medical College offers admission to the BSc Nursing program. For admission to the BSc Nursing program, candidates must have completed 10+2 with at least 45% marks in PCB and English individually. Admission is based on merit. The total fees for the BSc nursing program is INR 6.11 Lakhs.

Placement

Grant Medical College does not have any placement cell but it offers a 1-year compulsory internship at its affiliated hospitals like JJ Hospital, GT Hospital, Cama and Albless Hospital, and St. George's Hospital. During this internship, students get a monthly stipend between INR 6,000 and INR 18,000.
