Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences (GAIMS) is first Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) endeavour between Government of Gujarat and Adani Education & Research Foundation. GAIMS is the only Medical College and Multi-Specialty Modern Teaching District Hospital in Kutchh District. Under the unique PPP model high tech medical college was established since 2009 in Bhuj.

GAIMS is part of Adani Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, and is managed by Adani Education & Research Foundation, under the umbrella of Adani Foundation.In affiliation with Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma (KSKV) Kachchh University, GAIMS is recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) for Undergraduate course Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with annual intake of 150 seats. In addition GAIMS is permitted / Recognized by National Medical Commission for 16 different MD/MS Post Graduate courses with total annual intake of 61 seats in various specialties

G. K. General Hospital (GKGH) is the attached teaching hospital which is the only Multi-Specialty Modern Teaching District Hospital in Kachchh district. GKGH provides treatment to all classes of patients particularly poorest of poor patients. GKGH is having more than 760 beds capacity, 14 Operation Theatres, various Intensive Care Units - ICU, ICCU, PICU, NICU, RICU, MICU, SICU, OICU – Total comprising of 63 Beds, Modern Radiology center with 1.5 Tesla MRI Machine, 16 slice CT Scan Machine and other infrastructure facilities required for being a frontline modern multi-specialty teaching hospital.  The entire campus spreads in total 27 acres of land in the middle of the Bhuj City which consists various blocks of Medical College, Teaching Hospital, Hostels for UG / PG students separate blocks for boys and girls, Residential quarters for teaching and non-teaching staff.

The admission to undergraduate and postgraduate (MD/MS) medical courses are done by Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate / Postgraduate Medical Courses (ACPU/PGMC), Government of Gujarat at GMERS Medical College Gandhinagar. Guajrat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences (GAIMS) is a private medical college located in Bhuj, Kachch. G. K. General Hospital is a only district hospital of entire district and is the largest hospital of Kachch region. Currently operations of the hospital is being handled by GAIMS.

GAIMS provides full-fledged Student’s Hostel facilities on chargeable basis with dining and other recreational activities located within the campus area. All Hostel rooms are well furnished to fulfill all the basic necessities of students. Separate mess facilities for boys and girls are available within the hostel premises. GAIMS also engages professional Security personnel at the Hostel premises round the clock for effective safety and security.

There are separate hostel facilities for male and female students for UG – MBBS, Interns and PG students.
Each Student is provided the following facilities in the Hostel:
